Mug Swap

Hello you lovely lot, do you like a nice mug as much as I do? Well, we're not the only ones you know?!
The gorgeous Hannah over at Cupcake Mumma organised a mug swap - we all get mugs and post - who doesn't love post? Genius idea Hannah!

That's my mug not the one I sent!
Using lovely stationary and crocheting flowers :)
I was matched with one of my favourite Twitter Dud-ettes, Cas aka Mummy Never Sleeps - we swapped emails and got to know each other a bit so we knew we would be swapping things we liked. She's a superstar and it turns out we have similar tastes - so much so we sent each other the same mug - just with a different pattern - both, Cath Kidston - awesome!!

All wrapped up
I sent mine with some Green & Blacks chocolate and retro sweeties. I crocheted a sort of ribbon and some little flowers which I attached to the end and used it to tie up my little package.
I'm so glad to say that she loved it (phew!!!)

Now the awesome Cas sent me the same Cath Kidston mug with a lovely red floral pattern on it. We both agreed that this was the perfect size for a decent cup of tea or coffee. She also sent me those exciting new Cadbury's bars which I've actually been dying to try, but as I'm trying to lose weight, have been avoiding. However when chocolate is a present it doesn't have calories and it'd be rude not to - right? Right! The same goes for the mini Haribos. There was also a sachet of Options hot chocolate which luckily only has 60 calories so I can pop that in my mug and enjoy guilt free - yey!!

Now - I told you Cas was awesome but here's just how awesome - she knew it had been my birthday so she filled the mug with party poppers and even included a lovely extra gift.

How great is this?!

Absolutely perfect for a blogger I reckon and I love the colour of it too. It feels really nice in your hand so you want to write in it (does that make sense of make me sound like a right weirdo?!)

So that's it -  mugs successfully swapped and gifts given we are both happy and have made a new friend out of it. Thanks again Hannah for organising it all.

  1. What a lovely swap! How sweet to have included the party poppers too! And you're definitely right about chocolate that was a gift having no calories. I'm always buying it as a gift. For me. Oops. xxx
